The Public Opposes Medicaid & Medicare Cuts

Seventy-six percent of the public opposes major cuts to Medicaid. Seventy-nine percent oppose major cuts to Medicare. Those are the finding of a recent KFF Health Tracking Poll. Majorities across Democratic and Republican parties oppose these cuts.

Majorities of Democrats and Independents oppose major cuts to staff at Federal Health agencies. In contrast, most Republican favored these cuts.
