Will artificial intelligence (AI) replace you at work? Is your job vulnerable to AI automation or a beneficiary of AI augmentation? What sectors in the healthcare field are expecially volunerable to AI replacement? These and other issues are addressed in an article published by the Harvard Business School and author Ana Elena Azpurua. Suraj Srinivasan, Philip J. Stomberg Professor of Business Administration Chair at Harvard Business School, published research that show the asymmetric impact of generative AI on the workforce. No doubt the introduction of AI has reduced some job postings. However, it has also increase the need for employees who demonstrate their improved productivity by using AI. See charts below:

Professor Stomberg collaborated on a working paper "Displacement or Complementarity? The Labor Market Impact of Generative AI." with Wilber Xinyuan and Saleh Zakerinia. The research team categorized 19,000 job tasks across more than 900 occupations. Here is their assessment of the impact generative AI may have on healthcare jobs:
