They found that contrary to popular belief, the home care industry is suffering from declining profit margins. Profits margins are getting squeezed. With CMS reducing provider reimbursement rates and Medicare Advantage plans paying reimbursement rates below provider's service costs, small home care agencies are leaving the industry.
