Altarum reports that in November 2024, home health care spending grew 10.1% over the previous year. Since June of 2023, home health care spending has grown 24.8%. It is the fastest growing category in personal health care spending. It has outpaced spending in national health (7.2%), total personal health care (7.4%), and prescription drugs (5.5%).
