Gen Z Healthcare Workers with modern City Background


Soliant recently issued its 2024 Healthcare Employment Trend report. Certain trends will have material impacts on staffing, quality of care, and the ability of agencies to deliver services. In its report, it found these Gen Z trends will affect the 2025 healthcare labor market:

  • Gen Z (18-27) employees prioritize passion and career growth while older staff (60+) value job stability and community growth.

  • The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has little impact on Gen Z's motivation in pursuing a career in healthcare.

  • Most young professionals intend to stay in the healthcare industry until retirement. However, Gen Zs have the highest percentage (22%) of healthcare professionals planning to leave the industry within 3 years.
